I understand that my version of Elastix is converting Zap to DAHDI. The default installation of 1.5.2-2 found my PSTN trunk line just fine, however, in Elastix Without Tears there are manual instructions to modify zapdata.conf of which only the template exists and was not auto generated. I am not sure if I copy the template to the config file in the directions if it will interfere with DAHADI.

To properly setup my PTSN lines do I copy the zapdata template to the configuration file and perform the manual instructions?

You can copy the contents from
    /etc/zaptel.conf to /etc/dahdi/system.conf
    /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf to /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf

I didn't know those files existed. Unless otherwise instructed I will use those configuration files instead of creating the zapdata ones.

    Thank You

    Resolved.
