Zap/Dahdi NOT hanging up & Weird Inbound Calls

Hi,

We are having an issue with an Elastix installation at a corporate office. The Zap/Dahdi trunks work just fine, but we just logged in last night to find to our amazement one of the Zap / Dahdi trunk had not hungup and was off hook/busy for more than 8 hours+!! We manually terminated the trunk through the flash panel, but we were wondering how this happened? Also how can we prevent this from happening again?

Also some weird inbound calls show up in the CDR. We do not have any IP incoming trunks nor DIDs configured. Only the 4 Zap trunks which go into the PSTN lines, and the "Anonymous SIP calls" is disabled.

Just pasting from the cdr report, one can see weird inbound calls from some IP, and then the loooong call on the Zap trunk.

Not too sure.
But better pray that the long call is not to some pay per minute service call.
Ensure the network firewall are blocking external access to the server and the necessary to contain the box. Cheers.
