For the last week or so Yum can not run. I have tried it with fastestmirrors on and off.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jason

You need to edit (or delete file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ the file that that refers to Centos media, or stick the Original CD back in.

I wound up just wiping out the .repo contents and pasting in the text from a working box.

Kind of odd.
I guess something got corrupted.

All good now.

Thanks guys

I'm glad it worked for you. preferentially you will eventually do that by choice and knowledge, and not by chance, if you don't and you do all that extended repo stuff it might just bite you in the ass tomorrow. So perhaps back to RTFM, no ?

Please take that as an encouragement for betterment and not a negative.
