this is where you go to http://your-domain-name.com/recordings. I get below. upgraded from 1.1.8 to 1.2.1-4. it worked in 1.1.7. never checked 1.1.8.

any suggestions? where is the main.conf.php file? In manager.conf I have enable = yes and permit = for localhost ip. however I did change the secret password.

    start
    ----
ARI does not appear to have access to the Asterisk Manager. ()
Check the ARI 'main.conf.php' configuration file to set the Asterisk Manager Account.
Check /etc/asterisk/manager.conf for a proper Asterisk Manager Account
make sure [general] enabled = yes and a 'permit=' line for localhost or the webserver.

As far as i know, Elastix does not provide you with the /recordings link. Even in the latest one i installed i.e, Elastix 1.2.1-4, there is not such directory. Used to be AAH and Trixbox. Its different in Elastix. You need to assign the desired extension to the user logging in to Elastix GUI. Once logged in, you can click on PBX->monitoring to view the recordings. Or of course u can go to shell and copy all the recordings manually from /var/spool/asterisk/monitor. Hope it helps.
