Hey guys i just installed Elastix 1.16-12 the new stable 32bit version, and whenever it boots up wanpipe1 fails...how do i get some logso r trace files so someone can tell me whats going on..thanks :)

Do you have a Sangoma card installed??? If you don't, don't worry about the message.

As part of the boot process, it starts the WanRouter (which is only used for Sangoma cards). If you have not configured a Sangoma card it will always come up with this warning as there is not config file generated.

As such it falls through, which is exactly what we want.

i am having the same issue but i do have a sangoma card and elastix wont detect it whats the procedure for fixing this

from the command line, run wancfg_dahdi to configure the card.

I think the gui runs setup-sangoma which does not configure the card properly.

It has been a little all over the place for the last couple of releases, and it appears to be settling down...so I apologise if I am not clear....

at the linux prompt

setup-sangoma

go through the prompts....this setups the Sangoma part (WANPIPE config)

Next go to the hardware detection, and detect hardware (clicking on Sangoma tickbox) which covers the "linking" to the Elastix files....

The only thing to remember is that in the /etc/dahdi/system.conf, you may need to change the dchan= variable to hardhdlc= (in fact I think it is critical, otherwise your Dchan bounces up and down.

If you have problems, let me know, I have another system to configure with an A101D in the next day with the 1.6 Stable...

hi guys i reinstalled back to 1.3 and everything is ok but i had a problem which is sometime when i call out my pri and the call connects with the person i called there is no audio on the call just dead air have you guys ever seen this problem

Installed a 1.6-12 onsite today with a Sangoma 101D.

Process used was

setup-sangoma
Via the Elastix Hardware Detection tick replace chan_dahdi, tick Sangoma, click on detect hardware
modify /etc/dahdi/system.conf changing dchan=16 to hardhdlc=16
Reboot Elastix system
Connect E1.

Thats it, system implemented and all functioning...

Hardware used is a Intel Based Motherboard with ICH10R Raid chipset set to mirror drives. Network card is a Realtek 8111.

Hi bob, I have a Server HP Proliant ML110 with Elastix 1.6.12, and then i updated all packets online.

I have a Sangoma Card A101de but I want to do click "Detect New Hardware" nothing doing. I don't know what happend :(

You chose T1, yet you describe your line as a Primary E1. If you choose T1, it will basically fail for an E1 line.

You chose National ISDN 2, I mainly use EuroISDN, however this is going to be very much based on where you are....However, I have found that where some have set this to National ISDN 2, EuroISDN works as well, and in many cases resolves some issues.

The Sangoma Script does appear to fail at the end, saying that the Dahdi is in use or something similar, you choose to continue until the script has completed. Then reboot.....check to see if it has identified the lines under hardware detection.

Also make the change to the system as described
modify /etc/dahdi/system.conf changing dchan=16 to hardhdlc=16

Reboot again...that should be it...I am preparing another Sangoma system with 1.6 and will write it up for the blogs when time permits....

My parameters of telephony company is:

Parameters E1 PRI:

* Line Code: HDB3
* Trama: PCM30 con CRC4
* Protocol: EURO ISDN (ETSI)
* signaling channel: TS 16
* channel voice: del TS 1 al TS 10 (only 10 channels)

PRI have 15 Channels 30 Numbers DID´s asign : 612-9270 al 612-9299
