VPN help?

    I'm trying to connect a friend using Zoiper softphone through my Clark Connect Box to my Elastix PBX, but it's he's not registering. I have the Clark Connect configured correctly, but not sure if there's something I'm missing with Elastix, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    Do you have the ports forwarded in clarkconnect to your Elastix box

    Yes, I port forwarded. In CC, they have SIP and IAX pre-configured so all I had to do was select each and apply. Pretty easy. But his connection kept dropping out every 10-15 seconds. Could this be caused by my ISP? I have Comcast and they like to block ports. Not sure if they're able to block a VPN. Just wondering if I have to configure anything with Elastix? Thank you!

    Sounds like the connection for the VPN is losing its state. If you are using TCP, try using UDP to connect the VPN. Or send pings at 10 second intervals to keep it alive.

    Excellent, will try that. Just moved so my network is not up, just have my standby router and computer on. I'll try it soon though!
