    Hi.

I have installed my first elastix box and trying to get it connected to my voiptalk.org account. I have followed voiptalk's basic asterix setup but it still shows as not registered on their system and I can't dial out after setting up an outbound route.

Can anyone tell me what I should be putting where in the trunk to make it work with voiptalk

    Cheers

    Have you done this: http://www.voiptalk.org/products/trixbo ... setup.html?
It looks like all you need.

They use PEER/FRIEND so may not need to actually use a register string.
KISS it. Make a trunk with the simplest settings offered, add it to your outbound routing (first priority), try it. You can also add qualify=yes to get a ping time reading from FreePBX to see if your box sees the VSP.

Do you have firewalls(router)? Open port '5060' using 'BOTH' protocols; then point it to your internal server IP, and see if it registers to their system then.
