How can I turn on encryption on my sip / iax trunks?

I find it hard to believe there's no way to do it as it's an obvious need of anyone to keep their phone calls private and secure, even if it's only chit talk etc.

My company is located on Latin America and I'm looking into getting an US based voip provider, so our calls will travel a lot through the internet.

Hence some sort of encryption is a must for us. How can we encrypt our phone calls? Should I be looking for a special kind of provider or any sip/iax provider can support encrypted calls?

    Regards

    Not that useful actually.

It talks about connection sip phones to the server using VPN. But how could I possibly connect to my voip provider using VPN?

I have never seen a voip provider offer such thing. Have you?

Post edited by: elastixguy, at: 2008/04/04 08:13
