    My voicemail to email (any email from elastix to an email address) has stopped working. All my emails are in postfix/deferred folder. Only change i see is that we recently changed the ISP. It seems that the new isp is blocking smtp/25. Can someone help me configure the email so that it is sent from my gmail account after authentication? using port 465/ssl.

    Regards
    Farhan

    I think you should ask your ISP to give you an SMTP Relay Server address.

    Here is a late reply ...

    Your ISP is probably blocking your to send email to other SMTP server than theirs, so you have to tell Elastix to use their SMTP server to relay your emails. This is sometimes called smarthost.

    edit the file /etc/postfix/main.cf

    and the following line somewhere

    Code:
    relayhost = <your_isp_smtp_server>
    then save the file and restart postfix by issuing the command

    Code:
    service postfix restart
