    Hi there,

Before installing Estalix on it's own hardware and having read through this forum, I would like to virtualise it, so I can play around with the settings, get it all setup and then install it on dedicated hardware.

I am trying to install Eslatix on Virtual Box and I am having issues with the networking side of things.

It's setup on NAT with the Intel Server adaptor, I have given it it's own IP but I am not able to ping it, when I reboot it, it says that there is no IP and to go through the setup. i.e http://<your-IP-HERE> however, I did put in the settings.

Just wondering what network settings you are utilising for the setup?

Looking to set this up with some softphones so I can trial it all out.

Thank you very much in advanced,

    Gabi.

    Elastix without tears = excellent

    Update.

For some reason, I could not get it working, I messed around for ages and gave up.

I re-installed Estalix on a new virtual disk, set it up on a static IP.

I then chose bridged adaptor and it worked straight away.

Not sure what I did wrong, but I followed exactly the same as I had done previously and I can now get onto the web interface.

Hopefully this might be of use for someone.

    Gabi
