    I have several elastix servers and I want to begin to host web pages on those same servers. How can I do this and avoid the HTTPS, and use only http? Seems my tests all roll over to https then I get the security Certificate business.

    try this:
    Code:
    vim /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

    Comment out

    Code:
        RewriteEngine On
        RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
        RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}

    Reboot apache

    Code:
    service httpd restart

    Regards,

    Rafael

    Rafael,

    The strings you suggest do not appear in the file you indicated. Did you make an error in the file name or something?

    Gracias,

    in the new versions of Elastix, these strings were moved in

    /etc/httpd/conf.d/elastix.conf

    also if you put your webpages in a subdirectory of var/www/html/mydirectory

    you can just exclude this directory from the rewrite by putting the red line in the previous file:

    <Directory "/var/www/html">
    # Redirect administration interface to https
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(/mydirectory/*)
    RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}
    </Directory>
