    I've been looking for some official documentation on the preferred method of preforming an upgrade. I'd love to do an in-place upgrade, but that seems to be too easy. What method does everyone else use?

    Would an in-place upgrade look like this:

    * yum clean all
    * yum upgrade

    or

    * yum clean all
    * yum upgrade elastix

    Or should I be doing the following:

    * Run a full backup through the Elastix interface.
    * Squirrel the backup file off on a flash drive or another machine
    * Download, burn and boot the latest ISO
    * Restore from the backup

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Pat
