Hi all,

I don't know what I did but now I can't access Unembedded freePBX. It asks for username/password and it won't take anything.

So, how can I RE-SET the "admin"/admin password from SSH Console (root) ?
[little hacking required]

Versions: Elastix 1.1.8, FreePBX 2.4.1.0, Asterisk 1.4.19

Thanks!
George

Change the variable AUTHTYPE=database to AUTHTYPE=none in: /etc/amportal.conf

Then restart freepbx with amportal restart and you can access without password. Change the AUTHTYPE back to database.

Hope this helps.

I did it and freePBX is now in order (I think):cheer:

I changed it back to database and now the Unembedded GUI will open and login with user:asteriskuser and doesn't ask for password.
Is it normal?

Also Asterisk-Info throws some errors like 'iax2 show:no such command'
Didn't do any live tests yet with phones and faxing.

Thanks a lot!
George

EDIT: It came back to normal all by itself. The system got through a lot of changes from v1.0 originally continuously updating as it goes and also burning test and tweaking. No funny it behaves like Frankenstein. Tests tomorrow... :side:

EDIT2: Everything back to normal after testing. Done some minor tweaks also. Tests will continue...

EDIT3: The system is a little unstable. Updates is still the Achilles tendon I think, and always will be.
