    Hello Guys,

I'd like to ask you for a small advice. I've got Elastix with two truks configured.
The first one for a GSM Gateway and the second one for the VoIP provider. The trunks work fine separately. The connection is established after 5-6 seconds. The problem starts when there's a trunk switch. For instance when the GSM Gateway (2n Voiceblue) is down or all the lines are occupied. In such a case it takes 40 seconds till the call is established. It's definitely too long. Can someone advaice what to change or check to speed the trunk switch?

    Tomek

    Welcome here Tomasz:

I'm sorry but few people here will likely know about your "2n Voiceblue" particulars. My understanding is that the hardware is Czech and you are Polish.

use you outbound routes to choose your trunks in order of preference, if the "2n Voiceblue" doesn't "error out" gracefully when it can't complete the call, then that is it's problem, switch the trunk order and see if that work and of course RTFM of the "2n Voiceblue" as to how to "error out" gracefully.
