    Hi,

I'm running the latest beta and having a big problem with dial rules being saved/working.

can someone tell me where the trunk dial rules are stored and cut and paste a few of theirs from that file. Or perhaps run the steps below, which would pretty much do that.

    1.
    mkdir /tmp/tempconf
    cp /etc/asterisk/*.conf /tmp/tempconf/

    2.
In the gui, add the following dial rule to any trunk, save and apply. (it does nothing)
    1732+NXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    3.
    cd /tmp/tempconf/
    for i in `ls *.conf`; do
    diff $i /etc/asterisk/$i >> /tmp/dialrules.txt
    done

    4. post or email me the /tmp/dialrules.txt file, remove the dial rule you added in step 2, save, apply. Remove the /tmp/tempconf directory.

    Thanks,
    Lee

I'm really good with shell scripting and html and would be happy to write something if some can answer my question.

How bout a script that automatically backups up your conf files very hour?

Or a web page that displays everything in your /var/spool/asterisk/monitor directory and updates every 5 minutes?

    Work with me people ;)

    Thanks,
    Lee
