Does anybody have any suggestions for the best way to track DND status by extension? In other words I want to be able to run reports and see how long an extension was on DND over a set amount of time.

Thank you in advance

A quick answer will be:
Code:
cat /var/log/asterisk/full | grep "*78" | grep "Playback"
and
Code:
cat /var/log/asterisk/full | grep "*79" | grep "Playback"
With the first command you will get the list of extensions that have enabled DND, you will get the time when it was activated, while with the second command, you will get the list of extensions that have disabled DND, including the hour that was deactivated

Thanks for the suggestions, however this has to be a very user friendly for an end user. Something like running reports. The end user will not have access to the command line and will want to run these reports weekly or even daily sometimes.

that link in the previous response doesn't seem to work.

Thanks
