There's a way to receive the fax mail in tiff format?
Is correct, but there's that programing a lot of.

But why you need the files tiff ....
The files tiff are saved in /var/spool/hylafax/recvq/
if fax00000025.tiff => fax00000025.pdf

1.- copy this source final of : /var/spool/hylafax/bin/faxrcvd
in a terminal: vim /var/spool/hylafax/bin/faxrcvd
