I am not sure which codec I should choose for my processor. I have a Celeron and I cannot find much instruction on which one to choose. (I am a rookie). I am also having some major bandwidth issues. I am downloading from http://asterisk.hosting.lv/

I am putting the codec in /usr/lib/asterisk/modules then change the name to codec_g729.so.

So far I have tried three and they did not work. Please advise.

    Here is my processor info.

    Hi.

    Have you try this file?
    codec_g729-ast14-gcc4-glibc-pentium4.so
