    Hi Everyone,

I have a 2.0 Elastix system and over the past 4 days it has locked up twice.
Once I do a reset it works again.
Under the dashboard Communication Activity it shows a call or 2 in progress when the system is locked up.

Has anyone had these problems before? Is there any further info needed to diagnose the issue?

    Thanks,
    Gill

Define "Locked up." Can you ssh in? Can you type on the console?

I can go into the wedGUI and SSH in but no incoming or outgoing calls.
The trunks go to their failover route determined by the ITSP.

    Thanks for the help

    Trunk hanging

So the system is not locking up at all. A trunk is hanging. Try bringing up a shell and run "asterisk -r" and see if something odd comes up when it hangs.

    Nothing odd is coming up.
They seem to have one way audio on some calls too

I am having the same problem, calls are not being answered and calls out get all lines are busy. web gui and consold still working though. This problem started about 3 days ago . I did a yum update and now the system does not see the wxp100 fxo boards.

    Same problem here.

    Anyone find a solution yet?

We're on 2.0 and happen to be using a Digium dual-span PRI card. The system seems to lock up once every week or two. Totally randomly too. It happens in the middle of the day and nobody can call in or out. The web interface still responds, but the phones all say "no service".

    Its an asterisk issue

supposedly it has been fixed in version 1.8.7 so maybe when the new version on elastix comes out we'll be good.
