BerliOS seems to be a more compromised development

Anyone have tested the BerliOS stun server with Elastix? Would be great to add a stun server to the distro.

STUN Server for Elastix v2.0.2 on x86_64 platform

    Guys and Girls,

I attach here a rar file containing instructions and precompiled files from my system running Asterisk 1.6.2.13 built by root @ rpmbuild64-2.elastix.palosanto.com on a x86_64 running Linux on 2010-10-06 16:25:35 UTC
This STUN server and Client source is from Vovida.org STUN project patched for compiling on x86_64. The patch was taken from user Nettraptor in htp://www.awmn.net forum.

    Enjoy!!! http://forum.elastix.org/old_files/STUN_compiled_from_stund_v0.rar

    Re: Re:stun server

    kind of new in this.

    I'm running CentOS 5.5 (2.6.18-194.3.1.el5)
    I guess this is 32bits.

so, how should I run the STUN server? what would you suggest?

    thx

    Re: Re:stun server

if u are using 32 bits the rar file does not work for u because of this.....
    "Rename the first attachment to:
STUN compiled from stund v0.96 patched for x86_64 14-12-2010.part1

    and the second to:
STUN compiled from stund v0.96 patched for x86_64 14-12-2010.part2

    and unrar with winRAR.

    "

patched for x8664...tahts 64 bits y need 32 bits version

    Re: Re:stun server

    ok thanks Fernando.

Then, where can I find the 32bits version? I've been using google with no luck.

when I use a STUN server, the 2 ip addresses must be public? or is it enough with just one public ip address?

    thx

    Re: Re:stun server

stun needs 2 different public inetrfaces...about the 23 bits u need to download the tarball and compile in the 32 bits machines

    santiber hi,

For 32bit you need to compile it on your system by yourself.
Sorry i do not work with 32bit elastix.

    John,

The compile instructions are no different for 32 bit then they are for 64 bit except for the versions of the files will be the 32 bit counterparts.

Can you post the instructions you used for the 64 bit installation and we can transpose the numbers for 32 bit?

I tried to download the source myself for mystun_1.0-source.zip, but couldn't "make" and "make install". I am guessing there are some prerequisite softwares needed. I am also probably downloading the wrong software since you used "stund" but I couldn't find that on the site. So it would be helpful for you to point to the complete source files at their originating repositories with full instructions, since we are all Linux newbies :)
