    Hi

In elastix 1.3.2 when a call arrives then in extentions (fop) shows the caller id of the call.

In elastix 2 when a call arrives in extentions (fop) shows their own number. Only when i pickup the phone the i can see the real caller id number in my extention (fop).

This is not the real problem i have.
The problem is that i believe this behavior is the reason that a third party software i'm using don't even try to find contacts.
If i use elastix 1.3.2 everything works (i have a popup window with the contact).

Can someone help on how to have caller id in elastix2 the same way as in elastix 1.3.2?

In 1.3.2 i use misdn with hfc cards
In 2.0.2 i use dahdi with hfc cards

    Thanks
    John

Whell when i did canreinvite=yes to my extentions thinks go better!

Now i have the cid in fop when a call arrives from a trunk.
For internal calls i didnt find a solution yet. I still have something like zap2dahdi on the caller side and his own extention number as incoming cid to the other end.

If you find a solution please post

    Thanks
    John

    Hi

No i don't. But the truth is that i didnt search for.
The big problem was with the calls from outside.
For the internal calls i dont care so much.
But if i have something i will post it here.

    Thanks
    John

    Hi ctrevino

I don't like the interface of fop2 and it is not free.

But thanks for the info. If i need a solution for the problem of fop, i maybe buy a licence of fop2.

    Bye
