Hi ALL ,

When we create a recording using Add Event in Agenda >> Calendar>> Add Event .

Now if you delete the event the recording file is not removed form the extensions directory.
The path where the file is created is
/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/<extension number>

There there another way to remove these files ? they will pile up eventually!!
or we should be able to select the files that are not necessary and delete them.
Am I missing any menu?

Thanks

If you are comfortable with working in bash:

find /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/* -mtime +180 -exec /bin/rm -rf {} \; 2>/dev/null 1>&2

will quietly delete all files in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/ older than 180 days. (season to taste)

find /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/* -mtime +180 -exec /bin/rm -i {} \;

to do it interactively and until you are sure it's working right.

When everything is working, add a cron job to do it automatically

Thanks for the suggestion but my point is when we remove an EVENT from the calender the files should be removed or at least user should be given an option to remove attached files to that "Event".
