I am visiting this forum more frequetnly in recent days. Therefore, I would like to suggest the following:

1) Make forum has sub-grouping like:
a) Installation Problems
a1) Elastix v1.0
a2) Elastix v0.9.2
a3) Elastix prior to 0.9.2
b) New Feature Request
b1) Elastix v1.0
b2) Elastix v0.9.2
b3) Elastix prior to 0.9.2

This way it would be easier to visitors to identify which problem or fix is related to which version of Elastix, thus, preventing them to apply the patch for older versions on the new versions (if any).

2) I visted the OpenVox site, redirected from this site. The way Elastix puts OpenVox as a proud "strategic partners", OpenVox does not seem to reciprocate in a sense that all the installation notes are related with trixbox. From the documentation it seems they have closer ties withe trixbox than with elastix. If not please elaborate.

Thanks!

Post edited by: zenny, at: 2008/02/19 02:26

Re:some suggestions for forum admin

I am sorry to inform the admin that I spent an hour to suggest how the forum can be organized, but when I clicked on to post the message, I was thrown out of the forum to the register page! Ugh! I think it is a problem with joomla board (why don't you go for something stable like either phpBB3 or lighter and simpler punBB instead)

Several times in the past I have reported that the entire site goes down. Could be the used CMS framework (in this case Joomla) is not stable?!

Post edited by: zenny, at: 2008/03/11 14:00

While we are at it can we disable the whole verification code before posting, Its kinda annoying when you are in a hurry.
