    Hello @all,
    i have some little technical issues

    I need to access the mysql from outside, this means not from localhost.
    I need this because our interface is a windows software interface for the hospitality accessing the mysql cdr table.

    If i try this:

    use mysql;
    CREATE USER pbillx IDENTIFIED BY 'pbillx';
    GRANT ALL ON *.* TO 'pbillx';

    i get the errormessage: table mysql.proc_priv does not exist

    2. question:
    i normaly use nano as text editor. it is not working. Which editor i can use?

    Best regards

    Thank you for your info. I have resolved the problem by replacing the mysql database with the standard mysql database ( I have not touched asterisk and asteriskcdrdb).
    Then you can add users for external access. Also you need to modify the my.cnf and add a entry: bind-address=<ip-of-foreign-machine>

    Now it is working fine. Elastix is compatible to PBillX. For edit i use now winscp.

    Best regards

    I personally like vi, but if you like nano, install it. Probably something like "yum install nano.i386" should work.
