softphone for cellphone.

    hello i would like to ask if any one knows a good softphone for cellphone?
    can i install a softphone on a symbian or on wm?
    can xlite also be installed on a symbian os?

    thank you i understand.
    i know that there is a softphone called xlite the company how makes this also has other softphone but xlite is for free. i read about the xlite in the elastix withpout tears. i would like to ask if the x lite could also be installed on a cellphone with wm or symbian?

    Not unless on the vendors site it say "Can be installed on ARM processors such as most windows mobile devices".
    Symbian is another issue altogether.

    ok so i will need to ask the the person i will buy the cellhpone from if the wm support installing software on it? that's what i need to ask him ?

    and what about symbian ? can i install xlite or any other softphone on it?

    No, you need special "Cellphone-software" in order to do this. X-lite wont work on any of them, nor symbian.

    Ask the people providing you with a VoIP Solution about Softphones on a Cellphone, they'll be able to recommend ones they've used themselves and can support.

    and what about the other questions?
    does any 1 know if symabian is an os which will let me install any kind of a softphone on it? and what about wm ? i just do not have any experience with those and i do not have any knowledge about those so anyone who knows about those could guide me that could be cool.

    Nope, completely different CPU architecture for most of them, means its pretty much impossible ...
