Hello, I am new to elastix :). I installed elastix today on a lenovo machine with 2gb ram and an AMD 64 athlon X2 proccessor. I think that the proccessor has 2 cores. Unfortunately, elastix gives me an error message (soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for 10s! [swapper]) randomly. When it does so, the elastix stops responding and I have to restart it. Does anyone else have this problem? How can I fix it? If I used only CPU#0, would it fix the error? How can I use only 1 of 2 cores? Thank you :)

I think its possible to "dumb down" your AMD by using the BIOS on your machine - many manufacturers have this option.
As for the soft lockup, I also experienced this until I found it to be a faulty RAM module. After swapping it the messages ceased.

Well, now I remind, the RAM slot used to have a problem. I guess that's what caused the issue. Thanks!
