I can see that the EndPoint Manager regenerate the Polycom sip.cfg (each time?) under /var/www/html/modules/endpoint_configuration/libs/vendors.

If I want to add/delete something in the sip.cfg, what is the best way to keep my changes in the sip.cfg?

    You will need to edit

    /var/www/html/modules/endpoint_configuration/libs/vendors/Polycom.cfg.php

(or cheat and make sip.cfg readonly ;) )

Actually there are many ways to skin a Polycom cat, tftp, http, https (or local http on the phones) but if you use tftpd and Elastix' provisioning and want a different "template" than the one Elastix chose then yes the only way is to modify the template, or make the template unmodifiable after hand modifying it to taste.

    good luck
