    I am having an issue with silent monitoring another phone.

    I have tried both ChanSpy and ExtenSpy and have the same issue with both.

    Here is what happens

    phone1 calls phone2 --> audio works
    phone3 ChanSpy phone1 --> audio works
    phone3 hangup --> nothing happens phone has an active channel.

    if phone1 or phone2 hangup then phone3 will also hangup.

    Why can the phone doing the spying not hangup?

    extensions_custom.conf
    exten => _779XXXX,1,Macro(user-callerid,)
    exten => _779XXXX,n,Answer()
    exten => _779XXXX,n,Wait(1)
    exten => _779XXXX,n,ChanSpy(SIP/${EXTEN:3},q)
    exten => _779XXXX,h,Hangup()

    exten => _780XXXX,1,Macro(user-callerid,)
    exten => _780XXXX,n,Answer()
    exten => _780XXXX,n,Wait(1)
    exten => _780XXXX,n,ChanSpy(SIP/${EXTEN:3},q)
    exten => _780XXXX,h,Hangup()

    This does not fix my issue as the original call is still able to be spyed upon, there are no other phone available to be spyed upon. The phone doing the spying will not hangup. It should not matter if there are other phones available to be spied upon, the phone doing the spying should always be able to hangup not matter what. Locking a phone into a chanspy until the party being spyed upon hangs-up is not good.
