    Hello,

When I send fax from extension 55 to extension 66 it seems that the fax is recieved, because I can se it in "Fax Visor". But the corresponding e-mail does not send. In the maillog I see that the smtp server of my domain reject the addres uucp@kinfor.local, because the domain kinfor.local does not exists:

550 <uucp@Kinfor.local>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command))

here "@Kinfor.local" is my local domain, but who is "uucp" that try to send the e-mail to me?

In my virtual fax list I have two fax extension 55 and 66 and they have configured another e-mails.

    Thank you.

    Hi There

Why are you using such a domain? Where are the mail supposed to be received?
Can you receive any mail at all from your elastix box?
I would use a real domain, if you are on a dinamyc ip try something like dyndns.org they will let you use a subdomain for free.
Once you have one go to system > network > Network Parameters and write it downt there

My hostname is "KinforPBX.Kinfor.local". I want mail to be recieved to fax@kinfor.net and my virtual fax has this configured. This fax has extension 55.
    I create a other fax at extension 66 with e-mail "kiril@kinfor.net". I send a fax from 55 (with WinPrint HylaFAX at 55) to 66

    KinforPBX*CLI> iax2 show peers
    Name/Username Host Mask Port Status
    66 127.0.0.1 (D) 255.255.255.255 40001 OK (3 ms)
    55 127.0.0.1 (D) 255.255.255.255 40000 OK (3 ms)
    2 iax2 peers [2 online, 0 offline, 0 unmonitored]
    KinforPBX*CLI>

I can see fax in "FAX visor", its ok.

I have configured one e-mail in elastix: fax@kinfor.local and I can recieve mail to my account kiril@kinfor.net. It is sended from "fax.kinfor.local@kinfor.net" - some strange for me, because I expceted that the mail come from "fax@knfor.local"

I have static IP on my ADSL Router.

from maillog you can see, that address "uucp@kinfor.local" try to send a e-mail to kiril@kinfor.net but my SMTP domain hosting company reject it:

    Hi

Seems that you are relaying outgoing email on your isp´s smtp server and logically it rejects emails sent from your fax as it is using a .local domain. This could work inside a local network but not in the internet, for that you need a top level domain (.com, .org, .net, .edu....).

If you own the domain kinfor.net that points to your static ip, I would use pbx.kinfor.net instead of KinforPBX.Kinfor.local as a hostname.
If your ip has a reverse dns I would not use an external smtp server to relay outgoing email.

    Regards
