    Hello guys

This one is making me pull my hair.

I plugged a doorbell phone to an FXO port, this fxo is zap channel 2.

It works pretty nice, when someone rings. The problem is... sometimes u miss it, or need to call back to the door, to let the ringing party X, Y, Z.

So the specs say, to send a flash command on the line, the doorbellphone is connected too, the flash command will make the doorbellphone activate its mic. So you can call the party waiting outside, or activate the buzzer.

I have not yet figured out how to make an "extension" that connects to zap/2 and sends the flash command.

I tried a couple of trial and errors, in the custom extensions.conf with no luck. I read http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+Flash and some other dial plans

But cant come up with one that works.

All pointers, ideas, suggestions, samples are greatly appreciated.

(yes yes I know about CyberDatas IP intercom, we got one of those too, but still need to make this one work :( )

    all help is appreciated
    thanks

Have you tried setting the flash-time to 100ms?
