    You could perhaps start here:

    http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+sound+files

it is possible you are hearing a concatenation of several files, they are designed to be seemless, none match "the you are calling is unavailable, please try againg", but I suspect you also transcribed what you heard incorrectly.

I think you are right Dicko. These are most likely concated files from /var/lib/asterisk/sounds, and in this case specifically (most likely: the-number-u-dialed.gsm + is-curntly-unavail.gsm)

The link you provided is a GREAT general asterisk sounds web...good read for this.

You can see the filename in the asterisk console while playing.

    Look for:

    Playing 'whatever-the-file-is-called'

Or you can also see it in the asterisk logs:

    cat /var/log/asterisk/full |grep Playing

    Ready !!!!

All was a confusion :S . This file no exist in Asterisk. I am using a softphone (x-lite) and the played sound "the person you are calling is unavailable, please try again" is a local sound of the application. When I used other softphone or ip-phone (zoiper, for example), I do not listen it

    Thanks all again

Every day learnig a new thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
