    Hi

I have a strange behavior in elastix 2.0.2 when i do restart or shut down and then boot.

I have robotic sound and a lot off echo. After 1 or more amportal restart everything is ok.

I have elastix 2.0.2 with hfc card and dahdi with oslec.

I tried fix it by doing 1 or 2 amportal restart automaticaly after boot but i still have problem.

Is anyone have the same problem?
Any sugestion on how to fix it?

    Thanks
    John

I am having a lot of echo too. The thing is it even affect internal calls within a flat network. While internally is still acceptable the echo for external calls are ridiculous. This problem seems to start after I make a repositories update from the webGUI. I have also did a yum -y elastix. The problem remains. The voice seems okay from my side just that the echo is so bad the person on the other line can't really hear us.

    Hi

If you do amportal restart by hand (putty) is your problem solved?

Tell me how do you solve the problem even if it is a temporary solution like mine.

    Hi

Please anyone has something similar try:

    in /etc/rc.d/rc.local

    put

    #!/bin/sh
    #
    # This script will be executed *after* all the other init scripts.
    # You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don't
    # want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.

    touch /var/lock/subsys/local
    /usr/local/sbin/motd.sh > /etc/motd
    /usr/sbin/fxotune -s
    /usr/sbin/amportal start
    /usr/sbin/amportal stop
    /usr/sbin/amportal start
    /usr/sbin/amportal start_fop
    service dahdi restart

after i did that after reboot i have fine voice quality.

    Bye
    John
