Ring back prolem

Hi all,

Do you meet a problem that when I called someone, I didn't hear the ring-back or Music-on-Hold, but the phone could be rang and we can comverse in this calling. It means that all other work well, but the ring back.

When I reboot the Elastix server, all work well yet.

If you met this ago, could you give me some suggestion to correct it?

Check your call back and DISA configuration.

This problem happens by accident.
I have not set DISA. Do you have other suggestion?

Can you clarify? Do you have a problem setting up a system where you call a number and the elastix box calls that number back?

Or do you have a problem hearing the ringing tone on the dialing phone when you call the other phone?

Looks like I misunderstood your issue. A quick reboot will clear any bugs that cause the no ring tone issue.

I think the setting is OK. Because it works well generally.
However, I found this problem twice in one month.
But I can't confirm the reason yet.

Yes, when I reboot the server, this problem will be correct. I met thie problem twice in one month.

Can you confirm that your problem is this:

1.) Extension "A" dials Extension "B".
2.) Extension "B" rings, but
3.) Person using Extension "A" does not hear the ringing tone after dialing
4.) Call works fine once Extension "B" picks up.

Yes, it is.

When I reboot the server, it will be corrected.

I have a ring back problems also when I call another extension I hear ringing on the the handset in my ear but when I dial out a sip trunk I dont hear any ringing and all the sudent i hear the person answer. Anyone having the same probvlem? Also when I make a call to a PSTN number it does not ring and if someone picks up the call we can talk normally but if no one answers and it goes to Voice Mail or some kind of IVR I dont hear anything but it says the call has been picked up. I have a fresh install of Elastix 2.0 and using a FreePBX trunk.
