Every morning I have to start openfire and it stopped sometime during the night. I do a /etc/init.d/openfire stop and start.
My openfire is 3.5.1 which is the latest in elastix.

I read through this discussion on openfire's website, http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/176668 and went through all the suggestions.

Can anyone please advice and let me know of a solution that worked for them?

We just installed Elastix over the weekend and have noted a similar issue with Openfire for two days now. However, today when I tried to go to the Openfire page, I saw this:

HTTP ERROR: 500

Java heap space

RequestURI=/
Caused by:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Powered by Jetty://

After rebooting the server everything worked, but I'm not sure that's an ideal solution. :( I'm just watching now to see if this is a recurring issue.
