two days ago I installed mpg123 per the instructions in EWT. When I got to make install it told me to compile the program. After searching around on linux.org, and here, I've found out it is an old program and it crashes a lot of people's systems! I want to remove what I have:
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r.tar.gz
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r/mpg123.o
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r/mpglib/mpg123.h
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r/mpg123.h
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r/mpg123.c
    /usr/bin/mpg123-0.59r/mpg123.1
    /usr/share/doc/asterisk-1.4.26.1/contrib/init.d/rc.redhat.asterisk.mpg123

If I just do a rm <type each file> will that suffice?

    Thanks.

    If you did a

    make install

    then a

    make clean

in the same directory will probably do just that

That's scary. They are all in the /usr/bin folder. If I do a make clean it seems to me I might erase the whole /bin/ contents?
