To control phone setup remotely, we can use "apply_prf -r <user>" But this trig a phone reboot. Phone reboot can cause two problems : 1) it is quite long 2) more importantly it does cut the PC port, this can destroy a database file if a user has a PC connected to this port. Sometimes it is desirable to make an update during the day, and we can't reboot a phone. Using the web phone interface is definitively not the right way to manage them, because local.cfg is lost if you replace the phone or reset it to factory default. More, there is no way (to my knowledge) to selectively remove a local.cfg config parameter. So we cannot do the modification during the day with the web interface, and update it during the night through xml and .cfg files. The local cfg will stay here as it is prioritary over aastra.cfg and mac.cfg. To allow faster phone update, it would be usefull to be able to remotely send a logout / login to the phone. Would it be possible to implement this inside sync.php and trig the logout / login with a check-event notify ?
