Remote database

I installed 0.7.3 and its great, eveything works accordingly. The installation went painless. But anyways I have a couple of questions regarding Elastix:

1. Where can I find database connection parameters ?
The reason I am asking is what if I want to use a remote database ?

2. I want to implement a simple prepaid credit check and integrate it with Elastix, but am not sure on how or which database information resides for elastix. I know A2billing does this in some sense, but its not integrated with Elastix, its like a seperate entity.

Also I want to know of what you guys think in deploying this in a cluster ? You have multiple asterisk nodes - each pointing to a remote database node. Elastix in one of the node that points to the central database and asterisk management internal db.

Dear Sircar,

The CDRs are stored in MySQL. The MySQL password is defined in the file /etc/amportal.conf.

A cluster is a great idea and I think the scenario you describe is perfect possible.
