    I was hoping to be able to use the service from a remote site. I do not have a static IP but have the following setup:
    1. Port forwarded 5060 UDP to IP_Address_of_Elastix
    2. Port forwarded 10000-12000 UDP to IP_Address_of_Elastix
    3. My firewall updates *.dyndns.org with my dynamic IP change.
    4. I have a CNAME in GoDaddy *.mydomain.com point to *.dyndns.org
    5. Hostname of my Elastix is elastix.mydomain.com
    What am I missing here, please help?

    Another note, I cant seem to be able to find the folder /etc/asterisk/

    dear go4it2day, did you try to ping from outside to dyndns?
    forward 22 port on firewall and try to putty w ssh to elastix server,
    forward 80 to remote admin .
    forward 8000 to 20000 udp to elastix ip.
    I think you´will not need "CNAME in GoDaddy *.mydomain.com point to *.dyndns.org".
    post results. Best regards

    Alwayson;

    Thanks, I can VPN to my network from outside, when I ping *.dyndns.org from outside, it returns the updated IP address. Using iptools.com, the A and CNAME record point correctly. Not sure if the port range I opened is not enough, I really need this going.
