    My hard drive divorce me without notice. I snatched one in presence of it. Elastix 1.6 has been installed. Now the problem is when i record direct from the exten. and save I goet error massage

    "cp: cannot create regular file `/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom/mainmenu.wav': Permission denied
    Make sure you have entered a proper name"

    help to resolve this problem will be highly appreciated.
    I'm not CLI:) person so writing the command to paste will be lovely.

    Hi dicko,
    Thank you for quick response. after making directory as you wrote it
    I cut and paste the second line the results was bash no such directory I cut and paste second and third line together the result same any extra help will be fantastic.

    There is no second line it is all one line, it's the stupid fireboard software.

    will this fix recording problem i uncounted?
