recording only the conversation not also the ring

    Hello,

    I have in use Elastix 1.3.2 and I activated for every extention the recording option.
    So when is done an outgoing call the system record also the ringing untill the person answer.

    Is any option to record only the conversation?

    Is any settings to record only the conversation not also the ring?
    I have a client who pay per time of a call, and now record also the ring and if the callee doesn't respond the system record and the reports are not good.

    I'm uzing ZAP trunks for inbound and outbound and all calls goes to a queue before to be answered.
    For Zap I'm using Openvoz a400P

    Well, that is due to answer call detection, as you are using analog trunks, asterisk thinks that the call is being answered, when your PBX is able to take a line to dial out. If you are going to use analog trunks, I will recommend you to use "reversal polarity" on your lines, you will need to talk tou your provider, else you may use digital lines (E1s, T1s, SIP trunks, Iax2 trunks)

    So I have to talk to them? Is not any other settings that can be done on analog lines? Being too small is useless to take t1 or e1
