    Greetings!

I just recently switched from Trixbox to Elastix and need help provisioning a Cisco 7940 phone. It was setup and working in Trixbox and I believe all files were brought over to Elastix. So far I'm impressed with aspect of Elastix except for the Endpoint Manager. Is it as simple as editing the sip.conf file or something similar? Thanks for any help with this!

    Hi Greg.

Every Cisco file are the same for each Cisco phone (7960/40).
    SIPDefault.cnf (Common parameters)
    SIP[MAC].cnf (2 lines).

Every file are into the folder: /tftpboot

If you want to change all parameters by default, you can modify this file:
    /var/www/html/modules/endpoint_configuration/libs/vendors/Cisco.conf.php

For other files, you have file editor into the Elastix Web GUI:
    http://xxxxxxxxx/index.php?menu=file_editor

It's only for all files into the folder : /etc/asterisk
But you can use vi with the ssh connexion. ;)

    Regards
