I didn't get much time to diagnose this due to the customer wanting it fixed, but we had a really bad lighting storm here last night and I had a few customers call and tell me that they can no longer dial out their T1, but they could receive calls. The only error it would give is that the channels were unavailable to dial out. I just had to restart asterisk, saw the span reset and away it went. Has anyone else ran into this? I'm searching for a way to possibly script asterisk to reset the span every hour or every 30 mins to prevent this in the future.
