    Two questions on the new version 9.2:

    1 - there is a way to make call pickup "**" work with trunks? We're using mISDN channels for external trunking and we need it...

    2 - there's a way to use Asterisk Phonebook?

    id like the answers too!
    for now i have made ** pickup workaround like this:

    # nano /etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf
    [app-pickup-custom]
    exten => _**.,1,Pickup(${EXTEN:2}@from-did-direct)

    that way i can pickup calls comoing in from trunk to DID. Problem with freepbx is that ** pickup only works with 'default' context (set in general setings page). change the behind @... to context you need to perform the ** pickup and it should work. I dunno what happends on conflicting contextes if you make more then one rule like that.

    this workaround does't work for me...

    I think this work onli if you use ZAP channels, but I'm using misdn trunks with this config in misdn.conf:

    [out1]
    ports=1
    context=from-pstn
    msns=*

    [out2]
    ports=2
    context=from-pstn
    msns=*

    There are other solutions?

    You should be able to copy the default context and change it to another name, then save it under extensions_custom.conf, then you would point the context of a trunk or line to the custom context.
