    Dear Elastix Team,
thank you for your effort on coding and troubleshooting this great software.
i am new to IP-PBX world so imight need some help, i tried elastix and other Distros on VM's and actually i found Elastix is the best.
well theres my question whats the best hardware for this setup
i want to install Elastix for 40 IP-phones, with six FXO pstn, and one FXS for Fax and two SIP trunks on general my box will handle 8 to 10 concurrent call.
Thanks again for this great project.

For that you won't need a something too strong. Stay with 1 GB of ram and you would be more than happy. Any ip phone that supports SIP or IAX would do it for Elastix. FSX/FXO card are in different brands, as long they are supported by Asterisk they would work with Elastix.

    Regards,

    Rafael

thank you for your reply. i was thinkin of 2GB of ram for more performance and Sangoma A20004 8port with 4 echo canceller hardware, Dual core CPU. i think that would be great for that such a system.
