Now the question is how do i change all the passwords? cant use this box on the open network with all the passwords as default and cant find any threads on how to change them.

please could you assist.

Us linux newbies need this basic info difficult to swim without it.

You can change the password for the Elastix Web Interface in System -> User Management.

The unembedded freePBX password in PBX-> unembedded freePBX

We'll include this info in the next version of the user manual.

What about a CLI script that will change the admin password as well as the FreePBX password..

Similar to that other distro out there..

htpasswd /usr/local/apache/passwd/wwwpasswd admin

htpasswd /usr/local/apache/passwd/wwwpasswd wwwadmin

Edgar,
Is it currently possible to do this from command line ?

I would open an "Official Support" ticket for that :)

What is the default password to login into Elastix via the web interface. That information isn't in the User Manual. Can you please provide default passwords.

PS. This is for the new Distro 0.9.1-12-05

Thank You,
