I have the need to control my outbound caller id only under specific circumstances. After hours, I would like all calls to be routed to two or three off site numbers in a hunting sequence. Ideally, I would like to be able to prepend the CID with something like "Office", but I'd settle for just showing my main DID rather than the inbound caller's CID. Any help would be appreciated.

you cant modify an outbound caller id in the pstn side simple and short...
you can only manipulate cid in your own box or a in digital e1 or sip trunk in the numbers range that you own (example if you have a e1 trunk in miami 305 35618xx with numbers assigned to you by your telco from 00 to 99 you could only change out cid from 3561800 to 1561899 and no names) its a legal issue not a programming or config issue
