I was wondering if anyone has attempted to install Dell OpenManage on Elastix. We are running Elastix 2 and are planning on installing OpenManage. We are using a Dell poweredge 2850.

I have very recently successfully insatllaed Dell OpenManage on our PowerEdge 2850 server which is running Elastix 2.03 by executing the following:

    wget -q -O -http: //linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/latest/bootstrap.cgi | bash
    yum install srvadmin-all

Once installed Dell OpenManage can be accessed locally by going to:
    https: //yourserverip:1311
then .... login with your root username and password

Additional help and support on this can be found at Dell Wiki:
    http: //linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Repository/hardware

    Hope this helps :)

PS - Remove the space directly after http: and https: above as I could not get the link to display properly.
