Hello All,

Just in case you have not heard that Openfire Enterprise will be discontinued and its features will be part of the Openfire Opensource version, here is the news from the horse's mouth; http://www.jivesoftware.com/products/openfire , read right where it says "Openfire Enterprise".

This is the opportunity to integrate the full-featured Openfire into Elastix 1.0 or something.

Post edited by: techieg, at: 2008/04/07 13:57

Thanks for sharing the info, sounds good (but your URL points to 404 error due to the comma at the end!, So I am posting this without the comma at the end: http://www.jivesoftware.com/products/openfire

However, I could not see the source for the enterprise version of openfire. Hopefully, the enterprise edition would be integrated with the final version of Elastix 1.0.

Here you are, download the source and all you need to integrate the new Openfire 3.5 Enterprise (now opensource) into Elastix 1.0; http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/index.jsp . Hopefully, the OF 3.5 integration will be on Elastix 1.0 final.
