My last request was for the ability to transfer a call directly to voicemail, and many folks responded to help me with that, which I appreciate.

My new question is this. I have about eight extensions, all configured the exact same way. All work except one.

On the that one extension, when you call it, it says 'The user is busy on the phone leave a message'.

The user isn't on the phone. If I run asterisk -rvvv, it says that the phone is set to Do Not Disturb or has Follow Me set.

Neither of which is true.

here's part of the -rvv output:

dialparties.agi: USE_CONFIRMATION: 'FALSE'
dialparties.agi: RINGGROUP_INDEX: ''
dialparties.agi: Methodology of ring is 'ringallv2'
-- dialparties.agi: Added extension 203 to extension map
> dialparties.agi: got fmgrp_prering: 2, fmgrp_grptime: 20
> dialparties.agi: fmgrp_totalprering: 22
> dialparties.agi: found extension in pre-ring and array
> dialparties.agi: ringallv2 ring times: REALPRERING: 22, PRERING: 2
-- dialparties.agi: Extension 203 cf is disabled
== dialparties.agi: Extension 203 has do not disturb enabled, or followme pre-ring returned busy
-- dialparties.agi: Filtered ARG3:
> dialparties.agi: NODEST: 203 adding M(auto-blkvm) to dialopts: trM(auto-blkvm)

Suggestions on where to look to resolve this issue?

The phone is a Polycom IP 430. It's not the phone, I've moved the extension from one phone to another, and I get the same results.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Mike.

Are you sure it is not set to dnd. Try dialing *79 from the phone.

Thank you. I was looking everywhere inside Asterisk as to where I had set call forwarding on and couldn't find it.
Didn't think to look on the phone itself.

Back into lurking mode again. Thank you that resolved it for me.

Well it happened to me one time when I confuse the voicemail for feature codes with the dnd. Give a look to feature codes in the elastix pbx tab.
