    Hello,

In the latest edition of 1.5.2 of elastix with nvfax installed and everything configured exactly as my 0.9 installation the fax wont work only gets congestion/busy or none answered in 2000ms. Can anyone confirm if it stopped working in 1.5.2?

Nothing else except versions of elastix is changed in my configuration. It works fine if i switch back to 0.9

    Thanks in advance

    Otherwise,

I can confirm that nvfax works fine in 1.5.2 , there are a lot of other changes since 0.9 though, by what methodology are you doing your faxing?

My solution is all based upon an sip trunk and softphones. nvfax detects and sends the pdf to an mail. the extension is an iax2 and is set to pause for 5 seconds in incoming route.
Here follows a small snippet of the behavior.
Please if you have any suggestions let me know.
    Best regards

This call is being sent to 202, it rejects the call, can you confirm there is a fax machine, real or virtual, attached to that device.?

The fax detection process has been moved to inbound routes in FreePBX, check that the relevant route is being sent to nvfax.

First of all thanks for the very quick reply.
There is an virtual fax attached to 202(iax) and its confirmed as running.

f you call 202 from a regular extension what do you hear?

any logs generated will be in /var/spool/hylafax/log, if the call is rejected before the fax tones are detected then

    iax2 set debug

    might be diagnostic.

    Hello again!
After further diagnostic if found out that with one of my phone numbers it works fine but the other one from the same operator won't work. When I ask them they claim to support fax over g711u T.38 support. Is there any optimal settings to make it work with the other phone number aswell? If so please give me a few tips on trunk settings

    Best regards
